Our Customer Focus

We service all industries including Manufacturing, Professional Services, Retail, and Public Service Companies.  Our core customer base is small to medium sized businesses, which can range from 5 to 100 workstations and up to 20 servers.

What we do

HWG uses what is called Synapse or a Managed Services Offering.  Managed Services is a process where day-to-day IT operations are transferred and supported by us.  Synapse is a remote monitoring and management system that works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  It automates the daily management of IT resources and allows a company to focus on doing their chosen business.  These operations are handled remotely in order to continually monitor the effectiveness and efficiencies of all IT systems.

Regardless of the size of a company, all customer environments are held to the same best practice standards in the industry. This means that if the customer has a server and 10 workstations, their environments will run just as smooth and efficient as a customer with 10 servers and 100 workstations. Because of our Service Level Agreements, both customers will receive the same high-level support at the same response time.

By utilizing a cross-vendor approach, this purchasing strategy allows us receive discounts on hardware, software and additional services. We strive to keep our overhead low and pass the savings onto our customers. Because of this, we can save our customers up to 18% from the start, all the while providing streamlined, best practice services.

Leadership

HWG was started and to this day is still run by Matthew Williams. Matthew’s experience and expertise comes from over 10 years of working in the IT industry. Matthew was the IT manager for a large regional accounting firm before working as an IT Auditor for Financial institutions and manufacturers. Matthew is a native of Southern Indiana where he still resides today. Matthew’s vision and focus is acting on the best interest of the customer and educating everyone on how simple and specific the IT industry is.
